Self Advocacy: Building Self Esteem, We recreate the advocacy of Principal mom in WordPress entitled Self Advocacy: Building Self Esteem while solving problems, we chose this advocacy because we want to help the people that have low self-esteem to build their own self esteem by themselves.

What is Low self-esteem? According to Lena Firestone, Low self-esteem is characterized by a lack of confidence and feeling badly about oneself. People with low self-esteem often feel unlovable, awkward, or incompetent. You are the only that can help yourself, learn to motivate yourself to do something very important and this is building your self-esteem so we will discuss a tips to help you to build your self-esteem. Tips to build your self-esteem

Tip#1 Be yourself. Always think that it is also important to know that all of us have our own differences to one another. We are all unique, so try to do the things in your own way and don’t imitate the others.

Tip#2 Think positive. Always think positive whenever you do something and think a happy thoughts and always avoid negative thoughts or vibe in yourself.

Tip#3 Motivate yourself. Learn to motivate yourself by creating a list or a task that you want to achieved so you can do it step by step.

Tip#4 Learn from your mistakes. Nobody’s perfect and everybody makes mistake. Nobody can dictate what you are going to do except for yourself. If you make mistake, then take it as a lesson where you can learn something.

Tip#5 Have confidence. This is the important tip have confidence because it will help you a lot to build your self-esteem it will boost you so you will not have low self-esteem anymore.

Causes of Low self-esteem

People with low self-esteem always judge their own selves easily, they think that they are failure and not worth it, they can’t take risk and they are not capable to decide what decision they will choose.

  • Poor academic performance.
  • Drinking alcohol beverages.
  • Illegal drugs.
  • Dropping out in school.
  • Bullying.
  • Unsupportive parents.
  • Bad influences.
  • Stress and trauma or abuse.
  • Depression.
  • Anxiety.
  • Loneliness.

This causes of Low self-esteem is not good for you, in loving yourself you need to understand that you don’t need to be perfect to be good, so cheer up and enjoy your day.

In psychology, the term self-esteem is used to describe a person’s overall sense of self-worth or personal value. In other words, how much you appreciate and like yourself.

What is Self-esteem?

It is the way that people thinks about themselves, if they are worth it, and it is the confidence that you have in yourself that you can trust yourself when you are doing something. It is also how you give worth and value yourself. Self-esteem your strength when you are performing or doing something. You believe in yourself that you can do what you want and achieve the goals that have set.
